1050 aluminum belongs to pure aluminum series of products, and the chemical composition and mechanical properties is similar to 1060, the application is almost replaced by 1060 aluminum .the last two Arabic numerals  of 1050 series are 50, according to the international brand naming principle, aluminum content must be more than 99.5% is qualified products.China’s aluminum alloy technical standard (GB/T3880-2006) also clearly stipulates that 1050 aluminum content reaches 99.5%.Because it does not contain other technical elements, the production process is relatively simple and the price is relatively cheap. It is the most commonly used series in conventional industry.Industrial pure aluminum has high plasticity, corrosion resistance, good electrical and thermal conductivity characteristics, but low strength, not through heat treatment to strengthen, machinability is not good, can accept contact welding, gas welding.
